This is more than a day of recognition. It is the start of a conversation about upskilling public servants, opening AI access to residents and businesses, and bringing our communities into the dialogue around AI.
From the Cincy AI Day proclamationWhat the proclamation sets in motion
- Upskill public servants at city hall so the people running Cincinnati can use AI in their daily work.
- Enable AI access for Cincinnati residents and businesses across the region.
- Include our communities in the dialogue around AI so the technology reflects the people it serves.
Cincy AI Week was designed to catalyze exactly this kind of activity. The Enterprise Technology Association is excited to keep doing this important work alongside the city and its partners.
Payal Thakur of JobsOhio announced the expansion of the AI Ready Ohio training and upskilling program into the Greater Cincinnati region, bringing statewide certification efforts directly to the area.
Together, the proclamation and the AI Ready Ohio expansion point to the same goal: a region where AI skills and access are built locally, shared widely, and grounded in the communities they serve.
